SkyDrive gives the ability to share "short links"
Of all the storage and synchronization services in the cloud that have arisen recently, SkyDrive is perhaps the most interesting and we like. While Dropbox also works very well, the success of Microsoft service makes us think we should start thinking seriously about upgrading, or compete with an application that has almost everything, because today we have presented the " short links "or that is, the ability to create short links and share them.
The novelty is basically that the new bonds are about 40% shorter, ideal for sharing with tweets directly. This Microsoft provides links through Bit.ly, one of the services most popular shortened URIs, and therefore, like other regular service links, we can track the success of our relationship or our paper.
And of course, we also have the option of using our own custom domain name to shorten links and they support OpenGraph. It is therefore a great incentive to use the service, but I fear that as yet they Bit.ly integration is not complete, but it is a beginning and a feature that promises to be upgraded in the future.
Remember that SkyDrive is in a continuous process of renewal and updating, so that, taking into account that the service is already really good, only better things can come.

Twitter putting the focus on emerging markets
Late last year, Twitter has implemented a redesign of its Web interface and mobile applications for Android IOS and which sought to simplify the operation of users and therefore make Twitter a little easier to remove any barriers to entry face new users. While Twitter is a social network that is partly linked to the world of mobility, the mobile web version was not optimized enough for use and, in fact, it seemed the company was much more focused on their customers to mobile in the web interface. Given that there is an important plant mobile terminals of data that are neither Android nor iPhone OS, BlackBerry or Windows Phone nor T witter has decided to improve its mobile version and optimize it in order to reach all users .
Twitter could only be handled with some comfort in Android, iPhone OS, BlackBerry or Windows Phone because they have specific clients, really, is an entry barrier to new users, for example, have low-end handsets or have many years or living in areas where the average flow available in your data connections is small. And where they can meet these conditions? Mainly in emerging markets and with these changes seems that Twitter has focused on this type of new markets to provide access to its services.
And what changes? Considering that the mobile web version has not changed and that, therefore, remained with the old design, with this improvement, Twitter offer a unified experience across all access routes offered and also improve user experience somewhat lower terminal also offering a 33% reduction of flow necessary to load this site in a decent timeout.
Considering that the vast majority of mobile terminals deployed, especially in certain parts of the world are not type smartphone with this movement Twitter democratizes access to its services and open to many more users, regardless of the terminal they use or seniority you have. Unify the interface in all of its customers actually helps reduce the learning curve in using Twitter and certainly facilitate the incorporation of new users.
