Google Earth takes us to the sinking of the Titanic

The sinking of the Titanic is a subject that has always aroused great interest among the people because it has always been covered by a halo of mystery. Perhaps because of the popularity of James Cameron film of the same name and its revival in 3D in theaters, but it seems that this year the centenary of the sinking of the Titanic is back in fashion. As the boat rests on the bottom of the Atlantic in a very accessible, Google has decided to approach the Titanic through a three-dimensional recreation in Google Earth .
Coinciding with the centennial anniversary, National Geographic has been working on a documentary that analyze the keys to success and, using all information gathered, the guys from Google Earth have decided to take a virtual way to a place where few people have had access . Using the data and photographs taken by National Geographic, Google has been able to make a three dimensional model of the wreck that also have contextual information spiced with original images and text by including KML layer
